Webinar · Oct 20: The migration takes 2 weeks. Deciding to do it takes 6 months.

DevOps Team Extension · add-on from Growth

Do you really need a DevOps hire right now?

Your team is growing, Qovery runs your infrastructure, and the questions are piling up. Before you open a job post, let our engineers look at what you have.

IF YOU HIRE NOW

Months of recruiting and ramp-up, one person and one set of skills, and a new hire who first has to discover what is risky.

IF YOU EXTEND YOUR TEAM WITH OURS

A free assessment this month, two engineers who already know Qovery, and a ranked list of fixes you work through together.

Know what is risky before it breaks

The risks nobody files a ticket for: a single replica nobody chose, a database opened for one tool, alerting that misses the workload layer. We find them while they are still a configuration change.

  • About 150 controls, read-only, nothing changed
  • Ranked by risk, with the evidence and the fix
  • Mapped to SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA and DORA

This week's scan: the preview environments still read the production database password. Proposal: an environment-level override, then rotate. 20 minutes in Thursday's session?

Yes. Can we also look at the burstable RDS before our launch?

Engineers who work with your team, not around it

Two named Qovery engineers who already know your setup. Our solutions architects have run production infrastructure for more than ten years. They bring the findings, you bring the context, and nothing changes without your sign-off.

  • Monthly review, 45 minutes
  • Working sessions every two weeks, 2 hours
  • Business-hours escalation on anything the scan flags
Animated: the Typesense sharding plan from the architecture session

Architecture help when a decision is on the table

When a search outage pushed one customer toward a high-availability cluster, we built and tested one first. Then we learned memory was their real constraint, and redesigned it with them as logical sharding.

  • Tested on a real cluster before we recommend it
  • Options weighed against your cost and your product
  • Migration scripts and Helm charts you can reuse

A real engagement, customer anonymized

The first 90 days

  1. Mid-September

    A search outage

A node update takes down their single Typesense pod.

  2. Day 0

    Free assessment

    About 150 controls. Score 54/100.

  3. Day 1

    Joint review

Three findings corrected, four new ones, a 90-day plan.

  4. Day 17

    Architecture session

High availability tested, sharding chosen instead.

  5. Day 90

    Re-run and decide

Target 75+. The team decides to continue or stop.

An AI answers the question you ask. Most infrastructure mistakes come from the question nobody asked.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans can add DevOps Team Extension?
Growth, Business and Enterprise. It is not included in any plan. We price it to the size and scope of your infrastructure after the free assessment.
What does the free assessment include?
A read-only review of your Qovery organization against about 150 controls across reliability, security, performance, delivery and cost. The report is generated by qovery-assess, part of the Qovery AI skill, and reviewed by one of our engineers before a session with your team to go through the findings. You keep the report whether or not you continue.
Do you change anything in our infrastructure?
Not without your sign-off. The assessment uses read-only API calls, and every change we propose is agreed with your team before anyone applies it.
Is this 24/7 on-call?
No. Escalation runs during US and European working hours. If you need contractual response times up to 24/7, that is part of the Enterprise plan.
Do you work on our application code?
No. We work on infrastructure, configuration and architecture inside the perimeter Qovery manages for you. Architecture advice can touch how your application uses a service, as it did in our Typesense session.
How is this different from Qovery support?
Support answers the questions you bring. DevOps Team Extension looks for the problems nobody has asked about yet: a named engineer scans your infrastructure, ranks what is risky, and works through the fixes with your team on a fixed rhythm.
Can we stop after 90 days?
Yes. At day 90 we re-run the assessment, compare the scores, and you decide whether to continue.
